Insurance and risk

Declared Value Coverage

Declared value cover is a form of compensation calculated on the value the shipper declares when handing over the cargo. For an extra charge, the carrier raises its liability up to the declared value, but this cover is not a full substitute for cargo insurance.

This term applies to Sivan's Cargo insurance service.
