Total Insured Value

Total insured value is the amount for which goods are insured, and it sets the limit of compensation. In cargo insurance, this value is usually taken as the CIF value of the goods plus 10 percent, so that incidental costs are also covered.

This term applies to Sivan's Cargo insurance service.
