Insurance and risk

Interest Insured

Insurable interest is the subject and financial basis of an insurance policy: the goods or interest that the policyholder would lose money on if they were damaged. The policyholder must have an insurable interest in the goods at the time of loss to be able to claim.

This term applies to Sivan's Cargo insurance service.
