Kootaj (Customs Declaration Number)

A cottage number is a number assigned to a declaration after it is filed in Iran's integrated customs system. All later clearance steps, from assessment and payment of duties to issuing the release order, are tracked with this number, and in export documents it is also used to settle currency obligations.
