Delivery Order
A delivery order (D/O) is a document issued by the shipping line or its agent after receiving the original bill of lading and settling charges, allowing the consignee to take delivery of the cargo from the port or warehouse. Without it, customs clearance and removal of the cargo from the port are not possible.
