Customs Valuation
Customs valuation is the determination of the value of goods on which import duties and taxes are calculated. Its main basis is usually the transaction value, meaning the price paid for the goods plus costs such as freight and insurance to the border. If customs does not accept the declared value, it may set the value itself.
This term applies to Sivan's Customs clearance service.
