Chargeable Weight

Chargeable weight is the weight on which air freight is calculated, and it is the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight of the cargo. Volumetric weight is usually calculated by multiplying the length, width and height of a package in centimeters and dividing by 6000; as a result, light, bulky cargo is charged at more than its actual weight.

This term applies to Sivan's Sea freight service.
