Special Economic Zone

A special economic zone is a designated area in Iran that benefits from special customs and administrative facilities to support production, export and transit, such as the Shahid Rajaee Port Special Economic Zone. Goods can enter these zones without paying import duties and are cleared when they enter the mainland.
